Job Description
This position will support the design and development activities and is responsible for the productivity, quality control, and safety measures as established and set for the R&D Department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop new biotechnological products and devices.
- Assist in the design and engineering of product prototypes using CAD software and other design tools.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to assess the viability and performance of product concepts.
- Support the transfer of new products from development to manufacturing, including process optimization and scale-up activities.
- Work closely with R&D and manufacturing teams to implement design changes and enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Conduct design reviews and analyses to assess the impact of proposed changes on product performance and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of product design specifications, drawings, and testing protocols.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and quality management systems throughout the Product Development process.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including product specifications, risk assessments, and regulatory submissions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in Product Development or engineering within the biotechnology or medical device industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering design tools.
- Experience using standard MS Office software, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Solidworks and Autocad
- Strong analytical ability and demonstrated problem-solving skills
