Job Title: Junior Graphic Designer
Position Reports to: Graphic Designer
Location: Milford, CT
General Purpose and Scope (Summary):
Our in-house creative team is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer able to work creatively within the constructs of our corporate brand. This position requires experience with both print and digital media, and may support identity, branding, marketing collateral, events, social media, business development proposals and other corporate graphics requirements.

• Assist in developing and executing design materials in support of marketing strategies and campaigns that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Developing design concepts and ideas that meet those goals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for social media, email campaigns, flyers, presentations, event collateral, and other marketing materials.
• Work with other departments to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and techniques.
• Creating mockups, sketches, and prototypes to share with clients for feedback and approval.
• Producing final designs in a variety of formats, such as print or digital media.
• Support the development of design materials for internal use such as company town hall presentations, birthday cards, internal newsletters, etc.
• Brainstorming campaign ideas

Responsibilities:

• Conduct business in compliance with all state and federal regulations
• Set personal goals for growth within Total Mortgage structure
• Maintains effective communication to ensure the highest quality of customer service
• Takes initiative to manage daily tasks
• Takes a proactive approach to learning

Your Experience and Background:

• B.S. in Marketing, Communications or Graphic Design
• 1+ Years of experience
• Strong portfolio of creative works
• Conceptual thinker able to develop and comfortable presenting creative campaigns
• Strong proficiency with Adobe creative suite is required (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); familiarity with Canva, Figma, or other graphic design software is a plus
• Experience in creating posts, pages, and design campaigns for social media marketing including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects, to work well under pressure, and on short deadlines
• Ability to work in a team

Hours for position: Monday through Friday - 9am-5pm
