Darter Specialties, Inc. offers personalized web stores, custom-branded apparel, and promotional products through our franchisor, corporate, and school programs.
We are looking for a motivated, driven individual to join our fast-paced growing company in Cheshire, CT. This opportunity offers excellent benefits, and potential for growth!
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for multiple accounts. Responsible for handling customers’ day-to-day requests.
- Maintain customer relationships through continual contact via phone and email to provide proper service and meet / exceed customers’ needs.
- Set up Zoom meetings quarterly with the main point of contact for each account to identify their needs.
- Contact customers who have not placed orders in 3+ months via phone and/or email to drive business..
- Identify new items that can be added to the web stores and make recommendations based on knowledge of the account.
- This position requires simultaneously handling multiple projects and prioritizing customer requests both effectively and efficiently.
- Create look books and proofs of products to showcase new items that can be added to web stores
- Extensive use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create look books showcasing items for customers web stores
- Edit / create logos to be applied to apparel and specialty items using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Develop pricing for apparel and promotional items using pricing formulas
- Handle non-website orders using Filemaker program.
- Develop ideas for email blasts to promote new items and special sales.
- Work with suppliers to source items for customers.
- Complete the onboarding process for new accounts. This includes identifying their needs for apparel and promotional products. Creating lookbooks to include pricing, photos, and descriptions of what will be featured on their online web store. Review brand standards and logos for inclusion on all apparel and promotional products.
- Travel to trade shows throughout the year is required.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong sales skills to support new and existing customers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize work based on customer needs and strict deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, and intermediate Excel)
- Experience using Adobe Suite of products for graphics (Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Knowledge of NetSuite and Filemaker a plus
