Position Overview:
As a Graphic Designer, you are responsible for creating visual concepts and designs to communicate events & initiatives of the organization. You are responsible for using a variety of elements such as images, typography, and visual aesthetics to create pleasing and eye-catching collateral.
Responsibilities:
- Developing visual concepts and graphics for various projects, such as branding, marketing materials, websites, social media, and print collateral
- Using graphic design software and tools to create and edit visual content
- Creating and maintaining consistent and cohesive brand identities across various platforms and materials
- Ensuring that designs align with the brand guidelines and convey the desired message
- Collaborating with clients, team members, or project managers to understand the design requirements, objectives, and preferences
- Presenting design concepts and receiving feedback for revisions
- Determining the layout of visual elements to create the appropriate visually appealing content
- Considering factors such as balance, contrast, and hierarchy in design concepts
- Choosing and manipulating fonts to enhance the readability and visual impact
- Paying attention to kerning, leading, and other typographic details
- Applying color theory knowledge to create designs that evoke the desired emotions and align with the branding requirements
- Editing and retouching images to enhance their quality and fit the design requirements
- Creating designs for both print and digital media - ensuring that specifications are met for each medium
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks effectively
- Collaborating with other professionals, such as photographers and marketing specialists
- Bringing creative ideas to make the marketing memorable and unique
- Staying up to date on industry trends to elevate graphic materials
- Performing any other tasks assigned by leadership
Experience:
- Preferred: One (1) year experience as a Graphic Designer or relevant experience
- Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc); Adobe; Canva
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- Standard Business Hours

- Flexibility to onsite during training & events as needed by the business
