Form of workJeffTemps, Jefferson's in-house temp service, is seeking qualified Medical Technologists to fill a variety of temporary, laboratory positions. Currently looking for all shifts: first, second and third to work fulltime hours.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Operate diagnostic analytical equipment to generate reliable and timely laboratory results to facilitate patient care management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Perform laboratory analysis following documented procedures.
- Verify and report laboratory findings in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Follow all established regulations related to specimen processing, QC, lab safety, etc.
- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
- AS in Medical Technology or equivalent required, BS preferred
- 1-2 years professional experience in laboratory settings
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION:
- MT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred
Conditions of Employment
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
