Japanese bilingual Sales Representative – Food/Grocery
An international food manufacturer is seeking a qualified Sales Representative who has sales experience with food/ beverage product presentation experience to customers and distributors.
This food manufacturer has been around for more than 80 years, and their products are sold at most major grocery stores.
· Must be able to travel when the tradeshow is at nationally once to twice a month.
· Must be able to commute to the Somerset office minimum 2 times a week
Location: Somerset, New Jersey

Salary: $65,000-70,000K/yr + bonuses (one month worth of salary - about $70-75K) + mileage reimbursement
Business Hour: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm (must commute to office minimum 2 times a week)

Job Description:
- Build and maintain relationships with Retailers and Distributors
- Promotion announcement and sales support to customers
- Manage existing Broker network – keep them engaged, motivated, and focused on our business.
- Plan and implement various promotions (promotions, demonstrations, advertisements etc.)
- Present new items to existing and potential customers
- New product registration and placement
- Accounts receivable management: Collection of past dues, Deduction analysis and processing
- Manage a promotional expense budget.
- Market Research (Competitors, Pricing, Trends, etc.)
- Coordination and attendance at Food Shows to develop relationships with retailers, distributors, and brokers.
- Implement Price Increases
- Other duties will be assigned
Requirement:
· 3+ years of sales or customer service experience
· Account Manager experience for grocery chain, distributor is a big plus
· Bachelor degree is a must
· Bilingual in Japanese (speak, read and write native level) and English (business level)
· Must be able to go to the office 2days min.
· Sometimes work over the weekend and minor holiday (when there is tradeshows)
· Must be able to travel to other states nationally for trade shows (about 1-2 times a month)
· Must have valid Driver license and reliable vehicle
· Need to drive own car for business (will get reimbursed)
· Customer relationship management and excellent communication skills
· Presentation skills
· Occasional carrying and/or moving of up to 25 lbs. of equipment and/or food product.
