The Supervisor works as part of a janitorial team providing direction and guidance, developing employees through training, coaching, and mentoring, and ensuring established standards of work are met. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, patient, and enthusiastic; prior supervisory janitorial experience and experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred. Some core responsibilities:
- Assign duties to employees and regularly inspect their work to ensure that established standards are met.
- Issue and order all supplies and equipment necessary to meet requirements.
- Complete all required documentation and ensure timesheets are accurate and submitted timely.
- Provide training and guidance to employees.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform all duties necessary in instances of employee shortages.
- Notify managers of needed repairs
- May work in a variety of locations and worksites and requires schedule flexibility which may include weekends.
What you’ll need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Collaborative; customer-service oriented
- Basic computer skills
- Prior Janitorial Supervisory experience
- Ability to perform janitorial job duties as needed
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive locally to various customer sites
- Ability to pass background check and have, or be able to obtain, Security Clearance
Must be able to pass extensive criminal background checks and obtain government clearances.
Position is full-time working late-day/evening shifts (example 6:00pm – 2:30am) with a pay range of $27.64 - $28.84 per hour, depending on experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to, medical, dental, paid time off, and more. Apply today!
