SHIFT: Monday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM (With Flexibility - some mornings and weekends will be required)
PAY RANGE: $24.15 - $26.25 / Hour
MANAGES OTHERS? Yes! Our WaCo team comprises 15-20 employees across 12 sites. Many of the employees speak Spanish and have been with Relay for 10-15+ years. You'll be working with a veteran team in a great area with fantastic customer relationships already established.
This role is vacant because the previous supervisor was promoted.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
We know that experience is gathered in many ways. Below are some requirements for success in this role.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
- You have at least 5 years of education, janitorial operations, and/or experiencing managing teams successfully
- You have lived or work experience with people with disabilities (we prefer this)
- You're prepared to go through an extensive Federal background check for clearance into police/government sites
- You have experience in the cleaning/custodial industry (we prefer this)
- Your customer service is excellent!
- You're good at solving problems
- You've had some experience with working with contract requirements
- You're able to do the job of your employees! You can lift 50 lbs and you don't mind bending, pushing and pulling heavy items
- You're great with Microsoft 365 office including email, calendar and Teams
- You have a clean driving record, a current drivers license, and your vehicle is reliable
- You can pass a criminal background check so you can get Federal security clearances
WHAT'S YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?
- Driving to up to 12 different contract sites to ensure employees have what they need to be successful - support, accommodations, supplies, etc.
- Mentor, coach and train employees for growth
- Respond quickly and kindly to customer concerns
- Communicate with your manager so you're aligned with employee and customer needs
- Learn and understand the contract requirements for customers
- Our janitors are part of the SEIU union so learning policies and procedures is important to align with Relay and the union
