As anIT Systems Administrator you will:

• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
• Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.

A week in the life of anIT Systems Administrator:

• Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
• Set up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
• Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software.
• Coordinate installation and provides backup recovery.
• Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Job Requirements

• Top Secret Clearance
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
• Experience administrating Windows Server, VMware ESXi and Linux
• High School Diploma Required
• Security+ certification or equivalent
