Job Summary:

The IT Support Technician is a role that exists to provide sensational support to the organization's systems and software. This person will be responsible for maintaining IT software, aiding in team members' IT issues, and maintaining accounts for IT services.

Job Goals:

• Setup, configure, and maintain IT hardware/software for the GPRS field and local corporate office.
• IT helpdesk ticket support and frontline support for GPRS corporate offices.
• Create and maintain user accounts for all necessary IT services and applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Setup, configure, and maintain GPRS field and corporate office IT hardware/software
• Oversee and manage all end user hardware and software applications for field personal, as well as regional and corporate office users.
  • Examples: Surface PC's, iPad's, Office 365 Suite, Google Earth, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
• Consistently review hardware deployed at GPRS looking for higher levels of integration and synergy.
• Consistently provide break/fix support for hardware and applications deployed at GPRS.
• Provide hardware lifecycle management under the direction of the IT Manager
• IT helpdesk ticket support and frontline support for GPRS corporate offices
• Provide in-person support for corporate office users, as well as remote support for field personal and regional office users.
• Respond to GPRS helpdesk tickets via the GPRS support portal.
• Aide and assist the IT Team at GPRS as it relates to other IT needs, projects, platforms, and business initiatives.
• Collaborate with other IT Team Members to ensure the department functions efficiently and effectively.
• Support other IT Team Members as needed with normal and project-based job responsibilities.
• Create and maintain user accounts for all necessary IT services and applications.
• Provision and deprovision Active Directory/Azure AD users and groups.
• Provision and deprovision users in several other systems.
  • Examples: Adobe, CAD applications, podcast channel, etc.
• Conduct semi-annual user audits on all platforms to ensure consistency across all applications.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

• High school degree or equivalent; 2 or 4-year Information Technology (or similar) degree and/or minimum of 2-3 years IT Support Technician experience is required.
• Microsoft ecosystem (Office 365, Intune, Azure, etc.) experience and certifications are recommended. Examples of recommended certifications:
  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Net+
  • Microsoft MCP
