Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides accurate and courteous desktop support to both Corporate and field employees on a timely basis
- Monitors the successful resolution of tickets and provides appropriate progress reporting and status as necessary
- Responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Responsible for the configuration, and inventory of hardware/software
- Arranges for and/or prepares equipment for shipping/receiving
- Work with 3rd party vendor for any email setups, terminations, and general issues
- Any other duties as assigned by the Manager or IT Director
Technical Qualifications:
- 2+ Years experience in a desktop/helpdesk support role
- Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
- Ability to interface well with people in person, via telephone, and email and provide IT support in a positive and courteous manner
- Expert knowledge of Windows 7/10
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
- Knowledge of network security practices, antivirus, and encryption software
- Provide onsite support for issues with systems and network infrastructure including but not limited to: workstations, laptops, audio visual equipment, printers, scanners, telephony, switches, and remote connectivity.
- Work in conjunction with Support Team to address advanced issues when necessary.
- Provide troubleshooting and basic user training for office applications.
- Developing help and how to documents
- Proper IT change management processes
