Signature Dental Partners is a rapidly growing Dental Support Organization (DSO) that is dedicated to providing best-of-class dental services to patients across the country. We are seeking an IT Service Desk Specialist to join our team and help us support the front lines of our organization. As an IT Service Desk Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our dental and support offices have the technology they need to deliver the best possible patient experience. You will join a small team of IT professionals and work closely with our dental office staff to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain our IT infrastructure. Duties and Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft O365 (SharePoint, MS Teams, Exchange Online, etc).
- Troubleshoot networks (TCP/IP, LAN, wireless, ISP).
- Desktop Support
- Troubleshoot end user Windows operating system issues.
- Troubleshoot various dental practice management system (PMS) application issues.
- Install and troubleshoot various applications.
- Train end users on the best use of productivity software.
- Printer/Scanner troubleshooting.
- On/offboarding employee accounts and workstation equipment.
- Monitoring of various systems for performance, availability, and security.
Qualifications
- Ability to effectively communicate within ITSM ticketing, chat, and phone systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Understand the basics of incident, problem, change, asset, and knowledge management.
- Ability to create and follow checklists.
- Effectively create internal and public documentation and self-service articles.
- A willingness to learn, grow, and study new and legacy technologies.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a small team.
- Provide exceptional customer support while tracking time for service reporting purposes.
Ideal Qualifications
- Any certifications
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and cyber security best practices
- Familiarity with Dental Practice Management System applications is a plus.
