As the IT Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the technology operations of our e-commerce direct-to-consumer company. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the IT infrastructure, systems, and support services to ensure the efficiency, security, and reliability of our digital platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and customer support, to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of our technology stack.
Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases.
- Ensure the scalability, availability, and security of our systems, leveraging industry best practices.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and backup procedures to minimize downtime and data loss risks.
Systems Administration:
- Manage and administer various software applications and systems critical to the business, such as e-commerce platforms, inventory management systems, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Security and Compliance:
- Implement robust security measures to protect the company's data and infrastructure from potential threats and breaches.
- Stay up to date with the latest security standards and best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
- Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks.
Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth operation of outsourced IT services, such as cloud hosting, data centers, and software licensing.
- Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships to maximize value and minimize risks.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability within the IT Operations team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in IT operations, infrastructure management, or systems administration, preferably within an e-commerce or direct-to-consumer environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking, server administration, databases, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify, Magento, or Amazon Market Place.
- Familiarity with security best practices, data privacy regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
