OVERVIEW: Founded in 1979 in direct response to rising rates of hunger and homelessness in North San Diego County, Interfaith Community Services works to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness by Helping People Help Themselves. Interfaith is the most comprehensive social services agency in North County, providing both immediate safety net services and long-term, life-changing programs designed to meet the holistic needs of people in crisis. Together, in partnership with 250+ diverse faith communities, more than 650 recurrent volunteers, and a growing staff of over 200, Interfaith provides a safe haven and pathway towards self-sufficiency for more than 17,000 community members annually.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Information Technology and Office 365 Administration Manager will be responsible for the overall operations of managing information systems to include the servicing maintaining and troubleshooting all agency information technology devices which includes computers, peripheral equipment, cell phones, Go to Connect office phones, security cameras, FOB access. This individual will be responsible for hiring, training, performance evaluations, delegation of duties and supervision of staff. The manager will ensure their staff complies with all agency policies, safety regulations and completes their time cards accurately and on time. This individual will also maintain accurate files, and records to ensure availability of documents for compliance inspections. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or point of contact for help when problems arise. Promptly reports and observance workplace hazards and any injuries, occupational illness and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor. - Acts as the Office 365, Teams, One Drive and Share Point administrator, and integrates Microsoft applications to allow for online collaborations.
- Design and implement Microsoft 365 solutions that align with the organization's business needs, ensuring optimal utilization of available features and services.
- Manage user provisioning, access controls, and security settings for Microsoft 365 applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce governance policies, compliance standards, and best practices for Microsoft 365 and SharePoint usage.
- Lead the planning and execution of migrations, upgrades, and enhancements to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.
- Provide end-user support and training on Microsoft 365 applications and SharePoint functionality.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint administration.
- Evaluate third-party integrations and tools that enhance the functionality and efficiency of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.
- Responsible for Share Point collaboration governance by managing users’ access to resources, compliance with business standards, and ensures the security of agency data.
- Ensures the agency is compliant with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and PII (Personal Identifiable Information) requirements
- Plans, prioritizes, reviews, and participates in the work of staff responsible for managing information systems
- Establishes schedules and methods for providing routine and preventative information technology maintenance and services; identifies resources that needs review and discusses with immediate supervisor.
- Responds to emergency requests for repairs and acts as the primary point of contact for all information technology related issues (i.e. computers, servers, cell phones, cloud-based phones systems, copiers, Cisco ATA devices, security camera, FOB and WIFI access points).
- Assists the Director of Operations in preparing 5-year capital budgets, makes recommendations, and monitors budget expenditures
- Assists the Director of Operations in preparing statements of work on all information technology related purchases, and ensuring the vendor/contractor’s work is completed according to specifications on the statement of work.
- Coordinates and works in conjunction with development and security managers as well as the facilities teams to assist staff with office relocations
- Attends agency meetings and training as required
- Performs additional duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will be responsible for supervising staff within the department. Will be required to provide daily supervision of tasks as well as direction and leadership to the team. Responsible for making hiring and firing decisions, conducting performance evaluations, and identifying and promoting professional development opportunities.
EDUCATION/YEARS EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science
- 2+ years of experience as a Share Point Administration and management experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating system, SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell and Office 365
- Superb collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
