It Infrastructure Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Project Manager for our client in Mequon, WI. This individual will be responsible for leading multiple client projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and seamless coordination with vendors, engineers, and clients. Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

• Lead and manage multiple IT Infrastructure Projects concurrently, from initiation to closure.
• Develop and maintain project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

Budget Management:

• Create and manage project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met.
• Monitor project costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Client Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Communicate project status, milestones, and risks effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.

Vendor and Engineer Coordination:

• Collaborate with vendors and engineers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Manage relationships with external partners to optimize project outcomes.

Risk Management:

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and minimize project disruptions.

Travel:

• Up to 25% travel required for on-site project coordination and client meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience managing IT Infrastructure Projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and technologies.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices.
• Previous experience in client-facing roles.
