The Director of Information Systems will be responsible for leading the information technology department while ensuring the alignment with the business objectives of the organization. This individual will lead the IT team, including staffing, recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, and evaluation of IT employees. The position will oversee the operations and strategic planning of the department, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
Overview:

• Direct, plan, and schedule the development, production, and administrative processing of the organization's technology operations
• Formalize a vision and attainment path into an IT strategic plan with attainable milestones; communicate the strategic plan to the enterprise
• Define, interpret, and communicate policies, procedures, and goals of the organization to the IT team and business
• Oversee the management of the provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services
• Lead and oversee IT managers; assign and schedule or delegate work to subordinates
• Build systems capability that reflects the highest state of technical sophistication consistent with the corporation's needs and budget
• Develop, implement, and monitor a strategic and comprehensive security program covering all of the enterprise's systems and applications
• Ensure the protection of patient information and data in alignment with all HIPAA regulations
• Oversee the management of the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of IT systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or similar
• 5 plus years managing an IT team
• 8 plus years in an IT role
