Senior Controls Project Engineer
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 (Depending on Experience)

As a Senior Controls Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and profitability of control system-related technical aspects of assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
Lead control system aspects of projects, including electrical, safety, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming.
Generate schematics, specify components, support purchasing, and oversee assembly, safety validation, and field commissioning.
Work with various control systems, including PLC, HMI, industrial networks, servos, and AC/DC drives.
Collaborate with internal and external engineering resources and coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
Monitor project status and provide technical mentoring to staff.
Contribute to continuous improvement in control designs and programming standards.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in custom automated equipment controls design, build, and troubleshooting.
Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD required).
Proficiency in control system design, programming, and commissioning.
Familiarity with industry standards and codes.
Experience managing project budgets and leading control engineering teams.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a similar degree preferred.
