They partner with leading health employers, associations, and health professions education institutions nationally and in their 12 regions to meet emerging health workforce and diversity needs and advance health improvement and health equity. As the IT Administrator, you will be crucial in managing information technology strategies by leading IT staff, researching, and implementing technological strategic solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulations such as NIST, and working on strategies for network enhancements.
Responsibilities: Network Management: Configure, manage, and monitor network equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Address network connectivity issues and optimize network performance. Maintain the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
Direct technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects. Implement and enforce network Cybersecurity measures in compliance with NIST and other relevant regulations. Verify application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery, backup procedures, and information security and control structures. Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and incident reports. Work on strategies for network enhancements and standardizing equipment and platforms.
Stay up-to-date with professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies. Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot all system software, hardware, and database needs. Provide support to the website development team and manage user information.
Ensure website functionality is maintained and supported. Create policies and procedures for IT operations, compliance, regulations, and user platforms. Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and knowledge.
Proficiency with network management and data processing, hardware platforms, enterprise software applications, and outsourced systems. Familiarity with programming languages. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems) are a plus.
