Job Summary
Full-time opportunity with benefits to assist adults diagnosed with a mental illness in applying for employmentand obtaining and maintaining competitive employment. Assisting clients with obtaining information on how work may affect benefits. Establishing a relationships network in the community with employers and community partners. Working in collaboration with Vocational Rehabilitation Employment Services to follow the IPS principles. Being familiar with the Carl Junction, Carthage, Carterville, Joplin, Neosho, and Webb City area is a plus. Must be 21 years of age, have own vehicle with insurance, and valid Missouri Class E driver's license or equivalent from another state, and clean driving record. Education and experience equivalent to undergraduate degree in mental health or social services, business, personnel management, or vocational services. Experience working with people with serious mental illnesses, experience with vocational services, and knowledge of the work world are preferred.
