Department Overview
The Investor Communications Group supports the Firm's capital raising efforts across various products, strengthening its relationship with investors and contributing to the overall growth of the Firm. The group is responsible for investor services and acts as the liaison between clients and senior management. The department is also responsible for investor onboarding and is the primary point of contact for investor reporting and ongoing account maintenance. The group also collaborates closely with department leadership, business unit heads and the Business Development and Marketing Groups to develop and execute plans in line with business objectives.
Position Responsibilities
- Help update and manage investor information in CRM databases
- Support the review process for new investor onboarding documentation including the collection and analysis of contact information, wire instructions and tax forms
- Help with data analysis and reconciliation projects
- Assist in preparing materials for weekly team meetings
- Support ad-hoc Investor Communications projects
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Junior (or rising senior) level student attending local university interested in financial services
- Ability to work full-time from June to mid-August (approximately June 3rd - August 9th)
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Ability to take initiative and work independently while demonstrating strong teamwork
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time and priorities under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, analytical and detail-oriented
Additional Information
- Interns have a 40-hour-per-week assignment that last 10 weeks (June 3rd - August 9th)
