Your Responsibilities:
- Support planning efforts in the lead up to Ace's Centennial Celebration event in August 2024
- Draft communications including event marketing materials and presentations (PowerPoint decks)
- Research keynote speakers, entertainment and other potential talent
- Collaborate with other teams throughout Ace, with the goal of achieving the overall event objectives
- Partner with event vendors, including creative production agencies and AV companies
- Support project management needs including developing meeting agendas and recaps for weekly calls, submitting and tracking invoices etc.
- Create project status reports and timelines to ensure information is clearly captured and deadlines are met
- Compile and organize graphic and image assets
- Support video projects including ideation and scripting
- Create post-event surveys
- Maintain events content library to ensure final content is uploaded and organized
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
The ideal intern will possess the following:
- Working towards a bachelor's degree.
- Entering senior year of college or graduating senior.
- An interest in the communications and events space; has ideally had some previous exposure through coursework, internships or personal experiences.
- Proven organization skills and the ability to adapt to new assignments and deadlines
- Developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of people across multiple accounts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - whether presenting to colleagues, drafting emails to clients, or participating in brainstorming sessions
- Strong research skills
- Demonstrated creative thinker
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Teams, with high abilities in PowerPoint
