The intern will be responsible for performing daily tasks as listed below but not limited to:
- Write articles, create social media posts, write web copy, and create other materials and assets in the area of Quantum Information Science
- Help plan and execute communication and outreach events
- Assist with other communication activities in Quantum Information Science as needed
Education and Experience Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled full-time at an accredited institution and have completed at least one semester of schooling by the start of the program
- Must be 18 years or older at the time the appointment begins
- Completed freshman year of college and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- If accepting an offer, must pass a screening drug test
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Knowledge of communications and marketing
- Majors: Science, Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, Digital Communications
- A desire to participate in a dynamic work environment with competing deadlines
- Ability to be highly motivated and self-starting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
