What to ExpectWhat You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
The Inventory Control Specialist reports to the Operations Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining the inventory and spares program for Tesla Vehicle Manufacturing’s Plant Operations department.
- Manages onsite consumable and spare parts for facility utilities, systems, and equipment
- Responsible for performing and coordinating regular cycle counts of the site inventory
- Works with Plant Operations maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to reconcile any inventory variances
- Perform parting kitting for scheduled maintenance and engineering work orders
- Collaborate with procurement and vendors to maintain adequate material levels to prevent shortages
- Coordinates with factory receiving sites for onsite deliveries
- Place purchase requests within our internal purchasing and financial system and receive purchase orders through CMMS
- 2-3 years of experience in an inventory control, logistics and/or manufacturing position
- Personal computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Suite
- Ability to lift 20-50 lbs
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must interface effectively and professionally with other internal and external functions
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
Compensation and Benefits
Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:
$28.75 - $54.44/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
