We are looking for an Inventory Coordinator who is detail-oriented, organized, with excellent communication, and the relevant computer software know-how. In this role, you will work with inventory reporting, tracking and investigation as well as cycle counting and other varied projects. The ideal candidate will also be able to work extended hours if needed, and have experience in building strong working relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the Inventory Control Accountant to ensure the integrity of finished goods, raw material, and packaging inventories
- Tracks and updates database with the incoming and outgoing products
- Ensures accurate records of goods received, transferred and outbound shipments made.
- Ensures all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly.
- Maintains count accuracy (digital and physical counting)
- Analyzes inventory discrepancies
- Provides inventory control reports as required
- Interacts with all departments as needed to determine workflow issues relating to inventory inaccuracies
- Maintains safety while using equipment and tools
- Support with the operation of the facility
- Special projects as assigned
- Performs other duties/tasks as assigned.
Minimum Educational/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role
- A combination of of education and experience may be considered
Other Skills:
- Experience in Netsuite or other ERP required
- Highly organized with strong time-management and project management skills.
- Knowledge of Google Docs applications or Microsoft equivalent
- Related work experience in the consumer goods a plus
- Excellent computer skills, especially typing.
- Attention to detail.
