Key Responsbilities;
Vetcor is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing team of data analytics experts. As a Data Engineer at Vetcor, you will be responsbile for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our data warehouse, data pipeline, and data products. The Data Engineer will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including software developers, database architects, and data analysts, to ensure an optimal data delivery architecture.

Key Responsbilities;
This role will suite an individual who is adaptable, collaborative, and willing to learn new technologies and tools to achieve success.
- Maintain and optimize the data infrastructure required for accurate extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
- Develop ETL (extract, transform, load) processes to help extract and manipulate data from mulitiple sources using Python and OLAP processing.
- Automate data workflows such as data ingestion, aggregation, and ETL processing.
- Design, build, and maintain batch or real-time data pipelines in production.
- Gather requirements, develop, and maintain reports for end users, ensuring high quality KPIs.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security and compliance through quality control procedures.
Experience and Expertise;
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases and datebase design.
- Strong ability to understand 3rd party data structure and pull required data.
- Experience working with cloud Data Warehouse solutions (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, etc).
- Ability to create and maintain ETL pipelines using Python.
- Working knowledge of Cloud-based processing (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Experience with C# and Spark is preferred but not required.
- Experience with machine learning is preferred but not required.
