1st Shift Warehouse Hours 6:30am to 3:00pm
What We’re Looking For:
The Inventory Specialist should have a strong work ethic, be reliable and consider themselves a go-getter. This position is responsible for maintaining optimized inventory levels to prevent inventory shortages and overages. The role is fast paced and requires a high sense of urgency in order to support a lean manufacturing facility. This position must maintain a professional relationship with internal and external customers while promoting company values. The person we are looking for enjoys working both in an office setting and in the plant.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some warehouse/inventory experience preferred
- Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft Office
- Willing to be certified to operate a forklift
- Ability to communicate effectively, including the ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the United States
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Perform inventory cycle counts
- Track, resolve and report stock-outs
- Assist in the tracking and improvement of inventory report & countermeasures
- Set up new inventory locations, set up bins, and move items to new locations as needed
- Communicate, and monitor improvement plans to ensure inventory objectives are met
- Organize and maintain a clean inventory condition in the warehouse following 5S practices
- Focus on continuous improvement (Kaizen) in processes, procedures related to inventory
- Maintain Standard Storage Procedures for every Part (PFEP)
- Assist in maintaining the Inventory Central Store
