Spherion is searching for an Inventory Control Specialist for our client in the tooling industry in Warsaw, IN!
This Inventory Control Specialist will help to provide strategic leadership and enhance their inventory management processes for their customer.

-Implement standards, metrics, and procedures to maximize inventory management efficiency. ...
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to optimize inventory capabilities.
-Identify and prioritize initiatives to enhance inventory management practices.
-Ensure project/department milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved budgets.
-Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
-Monitor demand and analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
-Develop business relationships with suppliers and clients.
-Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain logistics procedures.
-Report on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and issues to upper management.
-Devise and update inventory operating strategies, plans, or procedures.
-Analyze forecasting data to improve business decisions.
-Optimize inventory control procedures and inspect business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages.
-Ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand from customers.
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
-Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
-Proficiency in working with inventory management software, such as ERP
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to create accurate reports
-Exceptional organizational and planning abilities
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on verbal and written communication
-Leadership qualities with a team-oriented approach
-Proactive critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED required (Associate's or higher degree preferred in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field)
-3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, factory or industrial setting with proven expertise in inventory management
