SUMMARY
This role works closely with purchasing and warehouse operations to manage and maintain accurate inventory records within Cable Bullet’s ERP system and warehousing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory Management (100% of the job)
- Maintains accurate inventory data, labeling, and records in the company's ERP system, as well as physical spaces.
- Schedules and executes regular cycle counts, ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity
- Conducts inventory audits in response to reported quality control defects
- Adjusts inventory records to account for discrepancies, damages, or losses
- Audits vendor-held inventory at off-site locations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Creates and manages transfer orders for moving products between locations
- Enters vendor returns into the system, coordinating with vendors and internal teams
- Identifies opportunities for improving inventory management processes and implements solutions
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 2-5 Years of relevant experience - can operate and manage processes and work independently
- Associate’s degree preferred; will consider those with some associate degree completion and transferable skills/experience
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Ability to problem solve using mathematical skills (inventory and data analysis)
- Ability to negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to remain highly organized and display attention to detail
- Ability to use customer service skills to build rapport with suppliers
- Ability to proficiently enter data and inventory information into company software and systems (NetSuite, Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work with industry-standard software for inventory management

- Ability to operate a keyboard and view computer screen frequently
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to sit and operate a motor vehicle occasionally

- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, squat, push, pull, and carry items frequently
- Ability to talk and communicate with others via phone, in-person, and/or computer frequently
- Ability to write ideas/information in a logical flow frequently
- Lifting up to 50 lbs. sporadically
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE USED
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers (desktop and laptop), printers, multiple displays, scanners, and wireless headsets
- This role may require the operation of forklifts, carts, dollies, and pallet jacks
- This role routinely uses e-commerce and organizational software (Shopify, Asana, Google Suite)
- This role routinely uses Microsoft suite of products
- This role routinely uses NetSuite and other inventory technologies
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS & TRAVEL
- This position is regularly exposed to a manufacturing environment where the noise level is moderate to high
- The employee is occasionally required to wear suitable Personal Protective Equipment while visiting client facilities, job site locations, or other operations areas
- Travel: Less than 5%
