Job Summary:
The Quality Control Associate will be responsible for receiving, in-process, and shipping visual inspection verifications to meet or exceed current Good Manufacturing Practices cGMP. The QC must be detail-oriented and have the confidence to stand up and object should the product quality be in jeopardy. iHerb is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the QC Associate may be and must be able to provide documented evidence of the operations process during an FDA audit.

Follow all Quality Control and Safety Procedures
Familiar with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Perform Receiving Inspections
Perform In-process Inspections
Perform Shipping Inspections
Perform Replenishment Inspections, if applicable
Ensure that all care is provided with respect to customer, client and co-workers' rights
Ensure a safe and clean work environment
Maintain confidentiality
Adheres to cGMP training and guidelines
Adhere to work schedules in completing and performing assigned tasks

Generally requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
Judgment/Reasoning Ability: Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. The Team Member is frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms. The Team Member may occasionally lift or move materials and products up to 25 pounds. Proper lifting techniques required.
