Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM; Occasional Saturdays 5:00AM-11:30AM
Pay Range: $20.00/hr-$25.00/hr
Job Summary – Quality Control Associate:
The Quality Control Associate is responsible for performing Quality Control inspections, Quality Control audits, and assessments as indicated and instructed by Quality Control Supervisor. This person will also be required to fill in and present all the adequate and pertinent reports and records to the QC Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Be an integral part of the development, creation, and execution of Seachrome’s QC procedures and processes.
· Perform QC inspections, QC audits, and product quality assessment in a timely and effective manner.
· As needed fill in all the adequate and pertinent reports and records that are related to Sachrome’s QC processes.
· Work closely with Quality Control Supervisor and Engineering Department to understand and execute all the required QC inspections and assessments.
· Other duties as assigned by QC Supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
· Must have good knowledge and understanding of different QC tooling and equipment.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Good problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work well with others in an office and manufacturing shop environment, possess good work ethics, and a positive attitude.
· Experience in manufacturing/assembly (plus).
Job Summary – Assembler A:
The Assembler A will assemble manufactured products and pack them according to specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assemble assigned product parts on the assembly line in accordance with production guidelines.
· Use hand and power tools (e.g., staple guns, hot glue guns).
· Notify the department lead of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
· Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
· Perform all duties according to established safety and efficiency procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Keep machinery and equipment in good working condition, including but not limited to basic preventative maintenance, making sure the machine is clean, and following up and reporting any needs for more complex machine maintenance to the maintenance department.
· Other duties as assigned by department lead and/or Production Supervisor
Qualifications and Skills:
· Mechanical aptitude; knowledge of using hand tools, power tools, and special equipment.
· Some experience in general manufacturing Assembly
· Knowledge of basic shop math
· Must have demonstrated good work ethic, excellent attendance, and a positive attitude.
· Bilingual English and Spanish.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to work with their hands and arms and be extremely accurate.
· Must be able to walk, sit, stoop, or crouch on a regular basis.
· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds on a frequent basis.
· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
· Ability to work near large, fast-moving equipment
