Our Operations team is seeking a summer intern. This is a phenomenal opportunity for a self-driven student to support an experienced team of professionals at one of the nation's leading financial institutions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review error and warning reports, investigate root cause and input correcting entries Review missing cost basics reports, speak with clients, FA's and external parties to rectify Assist with daily processing responsibilities including step ups, position reconciliation and dividend wash reconciliation Review corporate actions processed for missing data resulting in cost basis issues Monitor Tax Reporting mailbox for inquiries, investigate and respond appropriately Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned Experience and Skills Must be enrolled in an accredited university, preferably pursuing a major in finance, economics, or related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook) Professional presentation skills and ability to effectively interact with all organizational levels Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize daily work flow High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment What We Offer What Wedbush Offers You As part of the overall compensation package, Wedbush Securities (WS) offers an array of diverse benefits to our Colleagues.
Interns receive Paid Time Off based on local applicable law. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $20.00 per hour.
