Job Highlights
As a Plant Engineer Intern you will:
  • Learn responsibilities of an engineer with exposure to process and project engineering
  • Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
  • Develop working understanding of manufacturing, production and project scheduling, quality control and safety
  • Gain hands on shop floor experience with other engineers, operators and manufacturing resources
  • Work independently as well as with other cross-functional resources to complete various tasks and objectives
  • Work productively with others evaluating problems and alternatives
  • Work independently as well as with cross functional teams (inc. but not limited to engineering, manufacturing, quality functions) to implement process improvements
  • Support process and project engineering activities

Requirements
  • Must have completed at least Sophomore year of college
  • Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Engineering
  • Classroom experience in core chemical engineering or other engineering disciplines (e.g. mass/energy balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics) with prior intern/co-op experience preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word desirable
  • Willingness to learn new skills
  • Strong organizational and communications skills
  • Flexible schedule

What we offer you:
  • Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program and an individual performance bonus program. The established pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. to $25.40/hr.. Please note, the actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
