Job Summary:
Trane Technologies Internship Program provides current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to our company's senior leaders and opportunities to network. Our internship opportunity is offered to candidates working towards their Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Applied Science Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, or Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities:
Support Trane technical sales team preforming technical task for engineers, architects, contractors and owners/developers in the design, application and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. These systems will include the world's most complete line of efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and building management controls.

• Responsible for issuing purchase orders and reconciling purchase order issues for enabling.
• Process documents for service claims sales allowances, retrofit, and labor warranty.
• Logs service start-up and service work requirements in job tracking system.
• Communicates effectively with other team members concerning project management process.
• Pulls job credit number and assist with credit supplement processing.
• Obtains Trane and vendor estimated ship dates and update appropriate schedules.
• Assists with communication to customers regarding shipping updates.
• Forwards warranty standard documents to customers.
• Manages receipt of installation operation and maintenance manuals (IOMs).
• Distributes IOM's to customers.
• Assists with distribution and receipt of submittals.
• Responsible for general administrative functions to support the equipment fulfillment process.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
• Attend lectures and technical presentations that are practical for this career
• Hear about "real world" projects from visiting Trane sales engineers, managers and customers
• Complete meaningful homework assignments.

• Rapidly resolve problems to maximize customer satisfaction
• Establish courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently, such as, prioritizing tasks based on importance
• Responsible for end to end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
• Keeps current on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems.
