AddressPosition Summary:
This person supports lithium Ion cell and battery pack production by performing technical and Engineering support tasks in the areas of calibrations, data analysis, data management, PLC and HMI modifications, and equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
• Support manufacturing DOE testing and data collection
• Support troubleshooting of automated production assembly equipment
• Support calibration of electrical cell formation equipment
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering to implement approved process changes
• Assist in process optimization studies
• Write and help maintain operator work instructions
• Ensure daily 5S of work area (maintain clean and organized work areas)
• Assist in management and analysis of production data (test data, machine logs, yield data, etc..)
• Be punctual and reliable in attendance
• Follow all company policies regarding safety, quality, and conduct
Required Qualifications:
• Current enrollment with minimum 2 years of education in an accredited Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering program
• Willingness to work with and learn from a diverse manufacturing team.
• MS office suite skills for data management and analysis (MS Excel)
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent legal resident (Green Card)
• High school or GED degree required
• Good verbal communication skills (English)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift 40 pound loads several times per day
• Good visual acuity
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good manual dexterity with both hands
• Ability to stand for 2 – 4 hours at a time
• Ability to work in dry room / clean room environment (0 to 2% relative humidity)
