AddressJob Summary:
Performs fundamental engineering and data processing tasks associated with the design, development and testing of Lithium-Ion battery cell for customized applications in the government, military, aerospace, and other specialty, high-performance market segments.
Essential/Key Functions:
• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Support engineers responsible for lithium ion battery cells design and development
• Support performance or component level testing of lithium ion battery cells
• Lead data analysis and create test reports, and hold data review meeting
• Generate innovative detailed design concepts
• Support supplier evaluation and selection. Support activities related to the measurement of critical characteristics internally and at suppliers.
• Support, and update DFMEAs and DVPRs as required.
• Performs in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
• Participate in activities needed to support the management functions of the team.
• Follow all safety guidelines and operate in a safe manner
• Physical presence on the job is essential
• Other duties as assigned by management
• Willingness and cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors; ability to accept constructive criticism.
• Ability to learn and take on new tasks to expands knowledge and perform assigned tasks without direct supervision.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications:
Education and Experience
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering or Science from an ABET accredited institution
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Solid works CAD software and Simulation/Analysis tools
• Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and visual
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel
• Data analysis skills in an Excel Macro language, Python, or MATLAB
• Ability to work with hands and in a laboratory environment
