SalaryThe Cyber Security Specialist intern will be primarily responsible for the successful build-out of our security compliance portal. Using an established framework and controls, the successful candidate will map our existing IT controls to the associated evidence available, identifying recommendations for any gaps that are identified and help to build a remediation plan, as well as identify owners for the remediations. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance and who are interested in learning how they apply to an organization.

Requirements:- Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a security-related field from an accredited university.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, IT systems, and network infrastructure.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards relevant to the industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex compliance and security concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
- A willingness to learn and a strong curiosity.
Hourly Wage Range: $20.00 to $40.00 an hour. Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to our internship roles will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant education and practical experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
