What You Will Do:
The Enterprise Architecture Architect-Technical role provides essential support for architecture modeling tools and practices, system data integration, training, playbook materials, vendor tool(s) management and end-user tool support.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- Experience with industry-standard Enterprise Architecture tools required, looking across architecture domains, including methods for customization to company-specific processes.
- Experience with Avolutions ABACUS product and ServiceNow preferred.
- Experience with LucidChart, Tableau and Google Workplace a plus.
- Relational/dimensional thinking; database knowledge helpful.
- Prior experience involving documentation, technical writing, and terminology.
- Prior experience creating training or knowledge base materials; eLearning development software experience helpful.

Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’sdegree/Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary point of contact for Enterprise Architecture modeling software.
- Maintains the toolset that supports enterprise planning and architecture modeling, including related views, dashboards, reporting, etc.
- Ensures the architectural assets (guiding principles, strategies, reference architectures, design patterns, standards, capabilities, etc.) are managed and reviewed according to established architecture practices.
- Understands and supports architecture tool data integration from other external sources (e.g. ServiceNow, Apptio, etc.).
- Works with the appropriate Architects, Domain leads, and others as needed, to document architecture processes, communications, developing and maintaining formal training strategies and playbook materials. Conducts training for architects on use of the architecture model, its components, modeling best practices, views, dashboards, etc.
- Collaborates on initiatives and other groups for knowledge sharing and development of processes or architecture assets which advance the architecture discipline and value to the organization.
- Supports development and maintenance of a data dictionary for the Enterprise Architecture model.
- Responsible for lifecycle management of Enterprise Architecture modeling software.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the EA architecture modeling tool, maintaining interfaces with source and destination products.
- Administer system access rights to team sites/tools as well as related version control to ensure security and integrity of documents and assets.
- Assist in the development of classification taxonomies to facilitate information capture, search, and retrieval.
- Catalog enterprise standards and architecture assets according to taxonomy and metadata
- Participate in the review of architecture standards and other architecture assets.
- Develop and provide regular communications, formal and informal, to support and inform the architecture community and other related stakeholders, as appropriate.
- Develop and publish job aides; conduct training for utilizing the Enterprise Architecture process tools and published sites.
