We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.
We are seeking an Intake Specialist to join our team either on site in Miami or based Remotely. This important role helps our clients who are seeking treatment at MNA. This position is responsible for triaging inquiries for MNA programs and managing all incoming referrals.
This position also includes the coordination of intake assessments and liaising with site staff and outside organizations. This position is heavily case management. Efficiency and the ability to connect with clients, families, professionals and clinical staff is a must.
Responsibilities Include:
- Complete intake assessments over the phone, including clinical history, present symptoms and behaviors and treatment history.
- Case Management responsibilities and timely follow up with all assigned cases.
- Complete financial plans and review with Director of Admissions.
- Discuss financial considerations for treatment and review insurance benefits with potential clients and families.
- Have complete knowledge of all MNA facilities and MNA philosophy and programming.
- Send Admissions Packet to prospective clients.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in Salesforce.
- Schedule intake assessments with prospective patients and family members.
- Obtain clinical information from providers to assist with case review.
- Review patient's medical information to make sure all required documentation has been received and checking that prospect is medically cleared.
Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or social services required
Experience in behavioral health or eating disorders preferred
Time management and communication skills, and able to work independently or on a team
Ability to execute quickly, with a "consultative selling" approach
Experience with insurance and collection of finances preferred but not required
Flexible availability to ensure full coverage of department
