We have two wonderful opportunities available. Our established Psychiatric medical practice is looking for an Intake Coordinator in our Collegeville office. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM and a Front Desk/Administrative Assistant to work in our Phoenixville office. Hours are Monday through Thursday 9:30AM - 8:00PM. With our Front Desk position every weekend is a long weekend!
Intake Coordinator responsibilities include:
- Function as initial point of contact for all new clients. Conduct telephone screening, collect all demographic and insurance information, and schedule with appropriate clinician.
- Verify insurance(s) and mental health coverage for all new clients and current clients with upcoming appointments. Update copays/deductible amounts in upcoming appointments.
- Receive and obtain authorizations.
- Process Intake email for client forms, questions and messages.
Front Desk/Administrative assistant responsibilities include:
- Greet and interact with clients appropriately, demonstrating a welcoming attitude, through phone or direct contact.
- Answer phones and route messages promptly and appropriately.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments using electronic medical records system.
- Reconcile cash and credit card copayments daily.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
- Interact with co-workers in a helpful manner and foster high morale.
$15 to $17 per hour depending on experience.
Requirements
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone
- Ability to handle a "call center" environment: work quickly and multi-task.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Medical office and EMR experience is a big plus.
