Intake Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Listen attentively to client inquiries and concerns, and provide accurate information or direct calls to appropriate staff members.
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and maintain office records.
- Verify insurance information and complete necessary paperwork for new patients.
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure a smooth intake process for new patients.
- Provide basic information about the organization and its services to patients and visitors.
Requirements:
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to project confidence and professionalism when interacting with patients and staff members.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with patients.
