We have an opening for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) in our office in Waite Park, MN. This person will work with clients to explain insurance-related coverages, billing plans, and claims. Although experience in the insurance industry is preferred, on-the-job collaborative training will be provided.The CSR must be personable and respond efficiently and sincerely to customer inquiries. We are a small business, and though we have opportunities for advancement and growth, we offer a flexible, family-oriented office environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid, and complete information
- Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives in a timely manner and follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
Skills
- Customer support experience or experience as a client Service Representative
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Willing to be obtain insurance license
