TheInsurance Analystwill be responsible for to reporting, monitoring and managing various insurance claims, Auto, GL, WC, Property, or Builders Risk.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Follow up for adjuster assignments on reported claims and make sure adjusters have connected with appropriate company contacts
- Work with carrier Adjusters or Project teams for information as needed to advance the claim process
- Provide Sr. Management with data compilation for internal claim reports
- Coordinate and manage interaction between project teams, legal, brokers, and insurer related to claims matters
- Update claim data in software program and other compliance or OSHA related items as required
- Maintain company confidentiality regarding claims information
- Other responsibilities are to review Owner Builder's Risk or OCIP policies for adequacy of coverage and limits
- Assist with other day to day risk management needs such as insurance items related to contracts, project specific insurance, coordination with safety, or questions from Owners or Subcontractors
- Assist teams with bond requests as needed
- Assist and track OCIP enrollments
- Assist CFO with data collection for insurance renewals, final audits, policy subjectivities or extension requests
- Follow up with insurance broker for all requested policies
- Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:
- Four-year degree from an accredited higher learning institution preferred and 3-5 years WC/property/liability claims experience or combination
- Experience in Construction industry claims management strongly preferred
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint, Access)
- Proficient written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, public speaking in a group setting and professional telephone manner
