Peraton is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Systems Planning and Scheduling Specialist to work on the Digital Transformation, Acquisition, Modernization, and Modification (DTAMM) program. Become part of our team where we will partner with the United States Space Force (USSF) to employ modernization and digital transformation efforts that enable the acceleration of a national launch cadence across the Eastern Range (ER) and Western Range (WR).
The Space Force is focused on developing a scalable system capable of responding to the demands of National Security Space Agencies' objectives and DoD's Test and Evaluation (T&E) needs as well as ensuring the Nation's ability to access space. The Range Architectural line of effort will be enabled through innovative employment of cloud technologies, software development services, AI/ML, hardware modernization, and cyber security strategies. These efforts will improve data acquisition, processing, and distribution while enhancing collaboration between government and commercial launch partners. Prototypes and emerging technologies will be advanced into the LTRS architecture and incrementally delivered as operational capabilities, supporting the objectives of increased launch capacity and tempo for our nations ER and WR spaceports. Instrumentation Systems Planning and Scheduling Specialist will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

• Works as a member of engineering, technical and support function teams developing Technical Plans in response to Government issued Technical Direction Letters.
• Develops and maintains detailed schedules, production plans and material requirements lists in accordance with the Master Production Schedule, for products, proposal efforts and/or production processes.
• Coordinates Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Material Control, Quality, and other departments to achieve optimum utilization of facilities in meeting production schedules.
• Provides input to management and technical teams regarding problems such as scheduling conflicts, cost performance, material shortages, design changes, and backlogs.
• Releases and maintains all appropriate documentation and maintains project execution status information on the Collaboration Portal. Provides direction and leadership for lower-level employees.
• May be required to work within more than one project team at any given time.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 10-12 years of relevant experience or a Master's Degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience. Equivalent years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience planning complex technical projects with dynamic external dependencies within a technically diverse project team.
• Experience maintaining information in tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, or other content management systems, communication portals, or wiki-type systems
• Technical document writing skills using input from team members.
• Position requires an active Secret clearance.

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
