Instrument Technician

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instruments to ensure accurate readings and optimal performance - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments, including CNC machines, low voltage systems, hydraulics, and distributed control systems - Repair or replace faulty components in instruments, such as sensors, transmitters, valves, and actuators - Follow schematics and technical manuals to properly install, configure, and test instruments - Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve complex instrument-related problems - Conduct field service visits to client sites for instrument installation, maintenance, or repairs - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees are a plus - Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to read electrical schematics - Familiarity with various types of instruments used in industrial settings - Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing instruments using appropriate tools and techniques - Ability to detect and diagnose issues with precision and accuracy - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members Note: All positions at our company are paid positions. Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
