Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. Responsibilities: - Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instruments to ensure accurate readings and optimal performance - Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments, including CNC machines, low voltage systems, hydraulics, and distributed control systems - Repair or replace faulty components in instruments, such as sensors, transmitters, valves, and actuators - Follow schematics and technical manuals to properly install, configure, and test instruments - Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and resolve complex instrument-related problems - Conduct field service visits to client sites for instrument installation, maintenance, or repairs - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees are a plus - Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role - Strong knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to read electrical schematics - Familiarity with various types of instruments used in industrial settings - Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing instruments using appropriate tools and techniques - Ability to detect and diagnose issues with precision and accuracy - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.
