Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Instructional Designer to join our team. As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing engaging and effective learning materials for our organization. You will collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver high-quality training programs.
Duties:
- Design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning modules, videos, interactive presentations, and job aids
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and develop appropriate learning solutions
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy of information
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Utilize authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate and Adobe Creative Suite to create multimedia-rich e-learning modules
- Implement SCORM standards for compatibility with learning management systems
- Conduct quality assurance checks on all training materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, and clarity
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality training materials
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in instructional design
Skills:
- Proficient in instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Proficient in using authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Illustrator, and other multimedia software
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) such as Blackboard or Moodle
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
