We are excited to announce that Johnson Electric is now recruiting for PC Manufacturing Specialist in our Springfield, TN facility.
Your Responsibilities would be:
- Achieve departmental goals - scrap, PPH OA, etc.
- Provide daily communication with production staff regarding production and quality issues.
- Ensure parts are produced to appropriate quality levels and ensure suspect product is contained and corrective actions are in place.
- Perform root cause analysis of production and quality problems and to implement permanent corrective actions.
- Perform daily duties with accuracy and in a timely manner. This includes mold changes, press start ups, quality checks, material movement, etc.
- Accurately complete all production documentation and data entry in a timely manner.
- Follow all 6S and safety standards and practices.
- Provide continuous improvement and cost savings ideas.
- Work with engineering to ensure that processes are robust and monitor processes per standard work.
- Train employees on scientific molding techniques.
Our Requirements:
- Scientific/Decoupled molding experience.
- Plastic materials knowledge.
- Knowledge/experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Lean manufacturing experience.
- Computer literate.
- Formal problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalency
- 3 - 5 years Plastics / Injection Molding experience
