Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment:
Within any of our facilities, employees may be exposed to manufacturing noise, airborne liquid chemicals, fine particulate dust, ambient temperatures, and industrial lighting. Work environment is similar to most manufacturing and distribution operations. May be exposed to excessive noise, temperatures, hazards associated with working around moving machinery, work in confined quarters, exposure to vibrations and shop lighting, continuous exposure to hot temperatures, may be humid, odors, dust, continuous exposure to mechanical hazards, and occasional exposure to chemical hazards.
The following Personal Protective Equipment is required:
The use of additional personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required when a job task(s) is being completed in or around your assigned department or in another department, this includes safety eyewear, hearing protection, and safety footwear.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy to manage Process Line to ensure corporate goals and objectives are met
- Communicate vision and expectations to department managers
- Managing departmental performance measures through the use of visual controls and providing regular progress reports to manager
- Balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas; working to continuously improve in all areas
- Providing leadership that focuses the operational team on the corporate strategic plan
- Managing the balance between daily management activities and improvement activities
- Managing the development and implementation of improvement plans for the operation
- Providing leadership that creates an effective pace of improvement
- Creating and fostering a problem-solving mentality
- Creating and fostering a "Safety First" mentality
- Providing leadership for employee relations by modeling effective communications, coaching, training, and development
- Ensuring compliance with company, national, state, and local standards

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Operations Management
- 10 years of progressive operational experience
Competencies and Skills:
- Working knowledge of Plastic Injection Molding and Assembly processes
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques
- Technical knowledge of machining, assembly, production planning
- Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Blue print reading
Physical Demands:
- Works in a manufacturing environment
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Able to stand, sit, stoop, squat and walk
