Machine Operator - Rubber Mold
Mueller Co is currently seeking qualified candidates for full time, regular hourly rubber Mold Machine operation positions.
Job Responsibilities:
This position is primarily responsible for operating injection presses and various compression presses; maintaining quality and safety standards; and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Required Skills & Physical Requirements:
Work is scheduled Monday through Thursday from 5:00AM - 3:30PM (4x10 shift). Overtime depending on business needs. Overtime is paid on time worked over 40 hours a week.

Job Responsibilities:
This position is primarily responsible for operating injection presses and various compression presses; maintaining quality and safety standards; and maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Loads or feeds machine by lifting parts into position.
- Verifies settings by run sheet, first-run part, and sample work pieces.
- Maintains specifications by observing finished product, taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions.
- Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
Required Skills & Physical Requirements:
- General math skills with the ability to understand measuring/measurement concepts and their applications.
- Familiarity with basic tools of measuring and when to use for inspection of parts.
- Must be organized, detail oriented.
- Ability to read and use calipers.
- Standing for long periods of time and lifting to 50lbs.
- Experience in an industrial and/or manufacturing type environment.
- Work Safely in the Manufacturing Production Environment.
- Follow detailed verbal / written assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Read and understand work orders and assembly instructions.
- Prepare and assemble materials and parts in a manufacturing production environment.
- Move, process, and organize materials and manufactured products.
- Perform quality control checks and verification of work order specifications.
- Properly fill out basic forms, reports, and label products correctly.
- Communicates and works effectively with others.
- Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Supervisor.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills.
- Must have 2+ years of Machine Operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Extrusion or injection experience preferred.
