Position Summary
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for the efficient operation of the organization’s Information Technology systems and infrastructure. This position involves coordinating various IT-related tasks, providing technical support to employees, managing IT projects, and collaborating with other departments to meet the organization’s technology needs.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.
2. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, networks, and other IT equipment.
3. Monitor the performance of IT systems, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
4. Manage software licenses, updates, and patches to ensure compliance and security.
5. Assist in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and telecommunications systems.
6. Coordinate IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations, ensuring deadlines and budget requirements are met.
7. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
8. Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and user guides.
9. Assist in developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data security and compliance with regulations.
10. Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in the IT field and make recommendations for technology improvements and enhancements.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
3. Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), networking protocols, and hardware troubleshooting.
4. Experience with cloud services (e.g., Office 365, Azure, 8x8 phone system) and virtualization technologies.
Additional Comments
1. This position is based in Malvern, PA with a hybrid of schedule 3 days in the office.
2. <10% of travel, both local and/or overnight for company meetings, events, conferences, trade shows, industry events, etc.
