Job Summary
This position has responsibilities that include responding to team members queries via in-person, phone, or remote access, diagnosing software, peripheral, and hardware issues, running diagnostic tools, guiding team members through basic problem-solving, providing computer training, installing/upgrading hardware/software, writing training manuals, following up with team members, and completing support tickets.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
- Triage Service Desk tickets and calls, log tickets, and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Perform daily tasks required for bank processing.
- Install new equipment as needed including servers, PCs, printers, and switches.
- Repair equipment as needed.
- Perform user management on the network.
- Perform specification changes for multiple systems.
- Maintain records and document processes, solutions, systems etc.
- Work as technical liaison between IT and other departments.
- Develop new processes and assist in projects.
- Provide on call support after hours and weekends as necessary.
- Complies with all bank and personnel policies and procedures including but not limited to policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Complete periodic training provided and/or required by PrimeSouth.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to relate to and empathize with others.
- Characteristics including honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Technical Certificate in Information Technology
IT certifications desirable (A+, Network+, MCP, MCDST)
Experience:
A minimum of one (1) year(s) of IT experience is required.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of Installing, Troubleshooting and Repair of Hardware
Knowledge of Installing, Troubleshooting and Repair of Software
Skills/Abilities:
High degree of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
Effective problem solving, analytical, and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, and high-pressure environment.
The ability to install Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server systems.
The ability to install various Software applications and security patches.
Work Environment:
Requires regular office conditions.
Requires some travel.
